API Key Requirements

Azon Income Rescue requires use of your own Amazon’s Product Advertising API key to check your links. The key is free, but does have some requirements. You’ll need:

  • Amazon Associates Account: Sign up at affiliate-program.amazon.com.
  • Access Key ID & Secret Access Key: Generate these in your Amazon Associates account under “Product Advertising API.” See full instructions here.
  • Associate Tag: Your unique ID (e.g., “yourtag-20” for the US marketplace).
  • Marketplace Selection: Match your links’ region (e.g., United States, United Kingdom).
Note: New API keys may take 24 hours to activate, and Amazon requires qualifying affiliate sales for API access. Use our free testing tool to confirm your setup before purchase!

Is the fix 100% accurate?

We rely on the Amazon Product Advertising API to let us know what products no longer exist or have no current offers. Unfortunately, the API is not always 100% accurate in reporting this information so false positives can occur.

However, the fix gives you tools to quickly double check that each product is actually not available, as well as lets you mark any false positives as Ignored so they can be removed from your workflow.
